Warehouse Associate/ General Labor
Location: Houston, Tx 77032
Pay Rate: $14/hr.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical movement of inventory, accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Storing: Unload incoming trucks, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and inspect goods for damage.
- Inventory Management: Organize and store stock in designated warehouse locations to maximize space and efficiency. Perform routine cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders or internal requisitions for on-time dispatch.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics setting is highly preferred.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy loads (typically up to 50 lbs.), stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and barcode scanners is a plus.
- Valid certification to operate material handling equipment (e.g., Forklift Operator certification).
- Bilingual a MUST - Spanish & English
