Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Type: Direct Hire, Full School Year
Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored academic and social skills instruction to exceptional Pre-K students following IEP guidelines.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles, interests, cultural backgrounds, and temperaments.
• Serve as backup to the Director in their absence.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with students, families, and team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Possession or eligibility for a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education, Special Education (ESE).
• Bachelors degree in Education, Early Childhood, Special Education, or related field.
• Reading Endorsement and ESOL certification required or willingness to enroll to obtain these endorsements.
• Completion of Department of Children & Family Child Care Training.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and internet research.
