Job Overview
Do you love turning drawings and specs into actionable cost models that drive real-world impact? As a Construction Estimator at Absher, youll play a vital role in shaping our projects from the earliest stages. Youll be a key part of the team that builds out full-scope estimates, coordinates subcontractor bids, and helps position Absher to win exciting, high-impact work.
What Youll Do
- Develop full-scope estimates based on final construction documents
- Coordinate proposal and bid efforts, including subcontractor outreach
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs across a variety of trades and enter data into our estimating software
- Collaborate with the Lead and Chief Estimator to review unit pricing, pursuit strategy, and final proposals

What sets you up for success:
- Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of relevant construction experience
- 2+ years of estimating experience or 3+ years as a Project Engineer with exposure to preconstruction
- Familiarity with estimating software and the ability to interpret scopes of work
- A proactive, competitive mindset and a passion for precision
- A strong commitment to teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement

Compensation
Salary Range: $80,000 $120,000
