Our small, dedicated team is passionate about hands-on construction, specialized life-support systems, and immersive guest experiences. Now, we’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to bring the magic of the ocean to life as our Live Mermaid!
About the Role
As a Live Mermaid, you’ll be the heart of our immersive aquarium experience, captivating visitors of all ages with your grace and charm. Whether you’re swimming in our custom-built tanks or interacting with guests on dry land, you’ll embody the wonder and beauty of the ocean. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your talent while being part of a groundbreaking attraction in Colorado Springs.
What You’ll Do
- Perform as a Live Mermaid in water and on land, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
- Interact with visitors to share knowledge about marine life and the aquarium’s mission.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure performances are safe, engaging, and aligned with our vision.
- Assist in maintaining costumes, props, and performance areas to keep them in top condition.
- Represent the aquarium with professionalism and enthusiasm during events and appearances.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 1 year of performance, entertainment, or related experience.
- Strong swimming skills and comfort performing in water for extended periods.
- Ability to engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner.
- A passion for marine life and creating magical guest experiences.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
