Position Type: Permanent Placement (P-OT) Location: Newport News Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (102 beds) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-min lunch) Start Date: ASAP
Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Physical Therapist, who’ll play a key role in helping residents regain mobility, strength, and independence. The ideal candidate will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans that improve quality of life.
 Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for residents
</li>
<li>
Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility and function
</li>
<li>
Monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams for coordinated care
</li>
<li>
Educate patients and families on recovery and prevention strategies
</li>
<li>
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance standards
</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license – Virginia
</li>
<li>
Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
</li>
<li>
Strong interpersonal and patient-care skills
</li>
<li>
Ability to manage a consistent weekday caseload
</li>
</ul>
