Job DescriptionProject Engineer - Civil Construction

The Role: Project Engineer

You'll be the right hand to the Project Manager, the bridge between the field and the office, and the person who keeps everything moving forward. From RFIs and submittals to procurement and progress tracking - you'll be in the thick of it.

But here's the twist: this company doesn't just want someone who can follow a checklist. They want someone who can think critically, communicate clearly, and solve problems before they become problems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting multiple heavy civil and site development projects ranging from $5M to $50M+
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, and document control with precision
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
  • Assisting with scheduling, cost tracking, and change management
  • Learning the ropes of project leadership - and preparing to take the reins

What You Bring

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in construction (bonus points for heavy civil)
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project
  • A hunger to learn, grow, and eventually lead your own projects
