About the Role

The Client Manager plays a critical role in supporting the sales team to achieve growth and profit goals. This is done by providing exceptional service and fostering positive business relationships with retailers, carriers, and co-workers.

What You’ll Do

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service.

  • Work independently with the most complex clients and accounts.

  • Prepare new and renewal account information, thoroughly documenting systems to assist the Sales team in making informed business decisions.

  • Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, including binding coverage requests and collecting supporting documents from retail agents and clients.

  • Submit applications to selected carriers based on underwriting guidelines.

  • Follow up with retail agents as needed to ensure accounts are fully bound and completed.

  • Review policies, endorsements, and other account activities for accuracy.

  • Mentor and guide less experienced client/account representatives to help develop their skills and knowledge.

  • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations and guidelines.

  • Continuously develop industry knowledge through education, self-study, and attending seminars.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, with two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Industry certifications or designations are highly preferred.

  • Experience in insurance and/or banking is preferred.
