We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team. This is a long-term contract position that requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage various clerical tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and General Manager by updating customer requests and changes.
• Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain outgoing customer orders for the transportation department.
• Manage and update the database of customer requests and invoices.
• Assist with special projects using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ensure inventory of office supplies and equipment is adequately maintained.
• Act as a liaison between Plant Managers, drivers, and employees to ensure smooth communication.
• Perform data entry, make adjustments to customer orders, and handle daily filing tasks.
• Carry out additional clerical duties as assigned to meet office needs.
• Entry-level candidates or recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
