Aeroflow Health – Production Manager
Location: 6 Commerce Way, Arden NC 28704
Shift: First Shift 6:00am - 3:00pm (w/ some flexibility on this)

The Opportunity
As Aeroflow continues to grow and invest in its ability to deliver a world-class customer experience, its investment in distribution/warehouse function is growing as well. Aeroflow Fulfillment Centers (AFC) take great pride in being a critical part of delivering an exceptional customer experience, and currently fulfills over 400,000 medical supply orders per month from its primary Asheville warehouse.
Currently, we are in the early stages of a long-term project to modernize its supply chain operations, steadily adding new technology, automation, and additional fulfillment centers. Our growth and investment in its supply chain functions will require a Production Manager applying their skills in three key areas:
- Operations Management
- People Management
- Continuous Improvement Efforts
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Production Manager, who will be responsible for:
- Develop strategies to optimize warehouse layout, storage, and movement of inventory.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock, and ensure timely replenishment of Work in Process (WIP).
- Track site level performance metrics, compile reports and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
- Enhance collaboration between teams and ensure bi-directional communication between Production and Inventory teams.
- Mentor team members at all stages in their careers and take pride in their success, accomplishments, and professional development, while providing continuous training opportunities, tools, and SOPs to team members
- Clearly communicate and collaborate with company leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and strategic partners regarding challenges, opportunities, and improvements, KPI’s, etc.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and have a passion for continual learning, development and personal growth.
- Demonstrate strength leading through a sustained period of positive change.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to identify root causes of issues and develop solutions
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and measurable results.
- Support the implementation of changes, ensuring successful adoption by all stakeholders.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, measure the impact of improvements, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality

Skills for Success
- Proactive attitude with strong analytical and project management skills.
- A broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operations processes.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills in an environment of multiple internal teams plus external vendors.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting change management efforts involving multiple stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing day-to-day operations in a fulfillment or distribution center, with a focus on supply chain management, operations, and people leadership.
- Regularly tracks and achieves KPIs (e.g., order fulfillment time, productivity per hour) that show improvement within 6–12 months.
- A proven ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within challenging timeframes and ongoing change.
- Proven experience managing teams of multiple employees in a production or fulfillment setting with an emphasis on training and coaching front line supervisors.
- Experience utilizing analytics platforms to generate reports that support operational decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization, from entry-level staff to senior leadership.
- Proven ability to solve complex operational challenges
- Regularly engage with direct reports and cross-functional teams through bi-weekly or monthly meetings, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Proven experience delivering and documenting feedback for performance reviews or improvement plans, ensuring clarity and actionable next steps for employee growth.
- Ability to live/relocate near Asheville, NC.
