American Guard Services is seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Security Services to lead revenue growth and market expansion across Los Angeles.
This is a player-coach role responsible for personally closing new commercial security contracts while building and leading a high-performing sales team.
The successful candidate will help scale the region to $5M+ in annual contracts while maintaining strong gross margins and long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
- Close $1M–$2M in new security contracts in Year 1
- Lead team to $2M–$3M in total new revenue
- Scale the Los Angeles region to $5M+ in new contracts
Sales Leadership
- Recruit, hire, and train 3 high-performing sales representatives
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews and forecasting meetings
- Enforce CRM accountability and performance metrics
Business Development
- Develop relationships with property managers, facility directors, and enterprise clients
- Lead responses to RFPs and competitive security bids
- Target key industries including:

Qualifications
- 5+ years selling security guard services or integrated security solutions
- Proven track record closing multi-year commercial contracts
- Experience managing 2–5 sales representatives
- History of $3M+ annual production (personal or team)
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy and gross margin
- Established Los Angeles market relationships
Compensation
- Base salary: $120K–$150K
- Commission: 5–8% of gross profit
- Team override: 1–3%
- Performance bonuses
- Uncapped earning potential
Top performers earn $250K+ annually.
