Special Education Teacher Opportunity Elementary School Setting
An elementary school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with students in 5th through 8th grades in a structured classroom environment. This position is designed for educators with expertise in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe disabilities. The program primarily supports students with primary and emotional disabilities, providing a supportive learning environment tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with para professionals to ensure effective classroom management and student support.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to acmodate student learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to promote academic and social-emotional growth.
- municate regularly with families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential appropriate for Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe disabilities.
- Experience working with primary and emotional disabilities in a K-8 educational setting.
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills with para professionals and staff.
- Ability to engage students individually and in small groups to meet diverse learning needs.
