Job Title: Order Entry Clerk

Location: Norwich, CT (Full-Time, Onsite)

Pay Rate: $21–$24/hour

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire


Job Description:

A growing company in the Norwich, CT area is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join their team. This role is responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders, maintaining data integrity, and supporting daily administrative operations within a fast-paced office environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders into internal systems
  • Review orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and update customer and order records
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding order status and discrepancies
  • Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as needed
  • Ensure timely processing and documentation of orders

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of data entry experience required
  • Previous experience working in an office environment is required
  • Strong computer and system skills (ERP or order management systems a plus)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
