Estimator - NYC Interiors - General Contractor

An established, reputable NYC General Contractor is hiring an experienced Estimator to lead bids across commercial interior, retail, hospitality, and healthcare projects.
Responsibilities
- Run estimates end-to-end (DD bid submission)
- Price from drawings, specs, and incomplete design sets
- Develop budgets and pricing at early / conceptual stages
- Review scope to identify gaps, overlaps, and risk
- Solicit, level, and analyze subcontractor bids
- Build full project costs (trades, GC, general conditions)
- Support bid strategy and final submissions
- Review with senior leadership
Requirements
- 7–10+ years estimating experience (commercial interiors, NYC)
- Experience with conceptual / early-stage estimating
- Strong understanding of means & methods + local pricing
- Proven ability to run bids independently
- Comfortable working from partial drawings and forming pricing assumptions
- Solid NYC subcontractor network preferred
