Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time General Education Teacher at the high school level, starting immediately and continuing through June 12, 2026. This contract position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with one opening available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate mastery of subject matter, instructional techniques, and resource utilization pertinent to assigned courses.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards that promote effective instruction through formative assessments and differentiated learning strategies.
• Manage classroom environment with strong behavioral management skills to foster a positive, productive learning atmosphere.
• Adapt to and be comfortable working within an urban school environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification or licensure.
• Bachelor's degree required to qualify for an emergency teaching permit.
• Completion of all Pennsylvania mandatory clearances.
• Prior school-based teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting.
• Proficiency in classroom and behavioral management.
• Familiarity with the district and location is preferred.
