Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Mitigation Technician to join our growing California team. This role is critical to our emergency response and mitigation operations and involves hands-on fieldwork restoring properties affected by water, fire, and mold losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction and structural drying using industry-standard equipment
- Set up, monitor, and document drying systems (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- Conduct mold remediation in accordance with IICRC standards and company protocols
- Assist with fire and smoke damage cleanup when required
- Perform selective demolition and debris removal
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, and daily logs
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and internal team members
- Follow all safety protocols and properly use required PPE
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency response
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- IICRC WRT certification required (ASD and AMRT preferred)
- Previous experience in water, fire, and/or mold restoration preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
