Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services focused on early childhood programs at an elementary education center in the Lees Summit, MO area. This contract assignment runs from late March through late May and offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. The role supports young learners in developing essential skills within a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions tailored to early childhood students
- Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and therapy outcomes
- Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies and progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with early childhood education programs and developmental milestones
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain professional documentation standards
