Position Overview:
Weekend Option Registered Nurse
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Compensation: $20.00/hr Weekend Option Differential
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid RN license in the state of employment, adhering to all state nursing board regulations.
- Experience: Relevant experience in nursing is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit or position, including but not limited to:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment & Care Modules)
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
Physical Demands:
- Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking are required during shifts.
- Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as part of job responsibilities.
