Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $20 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience
Day Shift; Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Job Description
The Production Line Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing truck-mount carpet cleaning systems. This role involves building, wiring, plumbing, and testing components.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components, wiring, hoses, and plumbing systems on equipment units.
- Perform basic electrical wiring and connections for switches, gauges, and control panels.
- Install pumps, motors, belts, hoses, and other key components.
- Conduct testing on completed units to ensure proper function, including water flow, pressure, and vacuum systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices in the handling and operation of mechanical equipment and tools.
Essential Skills
- Experience in mechanical assembly.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, automotive, small engine, or related work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and follow written instructions.
- Physically able to perform all aspects of assembling, building and handle tools
- Experience with a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The role is based in a sheet metal job shop environment where you will be using various tools and equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
