Job Description

Sign-On\nBonus: Up to $50,000! Off Duty Housing Provided! We\nare an established air ambulance provider seeking a full time VFR Medical Pilot\nto join our team in Safford, AZ. This role requires an experienced helicopter\npilot to operate under CAMTS guidelines with AS350 VFR/NVG aircraft. The ideal\ncandidate must be available for 24-hour operations, working day/night rotations\nand meeting all FAA and company requirements.

Schedule\n& Location: 7\n& 7 schedule (subject to change based on operational needs). Off duty housing provided.

\n\n

Responsibilities:

\n\n

  • Safely\noperate AS350 helicopters under VFR/NVG conditions.
  • Ensure\ncompliance with CAMTS guidelines and FAA regulations.
  • Maintain\noperational readiness for 24-hour operations, including day/night rotation.
  • Participate\nin company training, safety programs, and customer interaction.
  • Relocate\nor transition aircraft as required, per contractual agreements.

Compensation\nand Benefits: We\noffer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a Relocation package\navailable (2-year service commitment required if utilized). Aircraft transition\navailable (1-year service commitment required).

Requirements:

\n\n

  • Commercial\nand Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
  • First\nClass Medical Certificate.
  • CAMTS\nMinimum Flight Hours: 2,000 Total Hours, 1,500 Hours Helicopter, 1,000 Hours\nPIC Helicopters, 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters, 100 Hours Unaided Night\nOperations or 50 Hours Unaided + 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
  • Candidates\nmust meet 235-pound body weight limit.
  • Strong\ncommunication skills and excellent internal/external customer service
  • Successful\ncompletion of interview and acceptance by customer and management.
  • Ability\nto pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity\nassessment (strength and flexibility evaluation), drug screening, and\nbackground check.
  • Must\nbe able to lift up to 100 pounds to assist in loading/unloading patients and\nequipment.
