Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
In an engaging educational environment, professionals will provide specialized occupational therapy services to students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade, as well as to some medically complex cases. This full-time position is located in Middletown, DE, within a supportive school community dedicated to fostering the development and well-being of all its students.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Delaware
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:Middletown, DE
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy services for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
