This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to support K-1st grade students within a K-12 school setting. The role involves working with a caseload of 84 students, including 45 receiving speech and language therapy exclusively and 43 on special education caseloads in learning support and emotional support classrooms. This is a contract position for the 2023-2024 school year with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-1st grade students.
- Deliver individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students in learning support and emotional support programs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with educators and families to enhance student communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY).
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Required Pennsylvania school clearances.
