Security Branch Manager - Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a natural inclination to deliver consistent service and effectively manage a workforce.
The Security Branch Manager at United Security Services is responsible for leading branch operations, client relationships, and personnel performance across all assigned security accounts. This role ensures strong client communication and regulatory compliance while supporting company growth and retention goals.

This position requires a hands-on leader who understands contract security operations, can manage multiple client sites, and can develop supervisors and officers to perform at a high standard.


Security Branch Manager Responsibilities

Operations & Service Excellence

  • Oversee daily operations for all assigned United Security Services accounts
  • Ensure all posts are staffed in accordance with post orders, contracts, and client expectations
  • Conduct routine and unannounced site inspections to verify performance, professionalism, and compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation
  • Respond to escalated incidents, emergencies, and client concerns

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients through scheduled meetings and site reviews
  • Proactively address client concerns and service issues
  • Partner with leadership to support new account transitions and start-ups

Leadership & Personnel Management

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train security officers and supervisors
  • Ensure all employees meet United Security Services training, licensing, and performance requirements
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and field leaders
  • Conduct performance evaluations and enforce disciplinary standards as necessary
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer service

Scheduling, Staffing & Overtime Control

  • Ensure schedules are created accurately and on time for all accounts
  • Manage call-offs, vacancies, and emergency coverage
  • Control overtime through proactive staffing strategies and scheduling discipline
  • Enforce attendance, punctuality, and uniform standards

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with United Security Services policies, post orders, and client requirements
  • Ensure training, certifications, and documentation are current and accurate, while maintaining compliance with state/local licensing and regulatory requirements
  • Enforce safety standards

Financial & Administrative Accountability

  • Manage labor costs, overtime, and branch budget targets
  • Review payroll for accuracy
  • Track and report operational KPIs to senior leadership
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, schedules, and operational records

Security Branch Manager Qualifications

Required

  • Leadership experience in contract security, law enforcement, military, or related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotation
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel between multiple client sites
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and conduct site inspections

Preferred

  • Prior experience as a Security Branch Manager, Account Manager, or Operations Manager
  • Proficient with scheduling systems and reporting tools.
  • Proven experience managing multiple sites, teams, or client accounts
  • Knowledge of state security licensing and compliance requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operational leadership experience
