Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist with at least 2 years of experience to provide expert care in radiation therapy using advanced technology. This contract role is based in Concord, NC, offering exposure to a high-volume setting with diverse oncology patients in an outpatient ambulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation treatments to cancer patients following prescribed protocols
- Operate Varian Truebeam and Aria systems to deliver precise therapy
- Manage and treat an average of 60 to 100 patients daily across three treatment machines
- Ensure patient safety and fort throughout each therapy session
- Maintain accurate treatment records and collaborate with the oncology care team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
- Willingness to work with outpatient ambulatory cancer patients
- First-time travel therapists are wele to apply
