Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and therapy techniques.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care strategies.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.

• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in all procedures.

• Utilize performance metrics to track and improve personal success.

• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care and performance outcomes.

• Stay updated on the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.

• Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and guidelines.

• Provide feedback on equipment and therapy effectiveness to management.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) required.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Eagerness to stay updated on new respiratory therapy techniques.

• Proven experience in administering respiratory therapy in a clinical setting.

• Strong knowledge of respiratory health and therapy techniques.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Excellent communication skills to educate patients and families.

• Experience with performance metrics to track patient outcomes.

• Familiarity with safety and health regulations in respiratory care.

• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
