We are seeking two qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to join a supportive school district in LaPorte, Indiana for the 2026–2027 school year. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to work with preschool and elementary-aged students in a collaborative educational setting while making a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success.
Position OverviewOpening #1 – Early Childhood Center
- Assigned to one early childhood center
- Caseload is expected to grow throughout the school year based on student placements
- Estimated caseload of approximately 60–75 students
- Supported by a veteran SLPA and a speech paraprofessional in a team-based service delivery model
Opening #2 – Preschool and Elementary Assignment
- Split assignment between a preschool and elementary school
- Similar caseload size of approximately 60–75 students
- Collaborative special education and related services team
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend IEP meetings, team meetings, and district-required trainings
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Provide required supervision for an SLPA in accordance with Indiana regulations
QualificationsRequired
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Indiana Department of Education (DOE) Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Ability and willingness to supervise an SLPA
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Previous school-based experience
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education compliance
