As a Transfer Center Nurse Specialist, you will:

  • Ensure timely and appropriate placement based on clinical information and admission criteria.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associate's degree in nursing and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • A valid New Mexico Board of Nursing RN License.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Transfer Center Management: Coordinate patient transfers from other healthcare facilities, ensuring safe and timely placements.
  • Bed Assignment: Manage bed assignments based on admission status and clinical information.
  • Patient Registration: Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient registration and account data.
  • Departmental Communication: Support hospital values and provide essential reports on patient placements.
