About the Role:

KDC is seeking an in-person Spanish Interpreter who will assist Early Intervention Specialists by providing written and verbal interpretation services. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English. KDC’s concept of being a cultural liaison exemplifies this principle by helping bridge the gap between service providers and families.

Salary: $35.00/hour

Schedule: 5-20 hours per week based on family needs

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Provide translating/interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during home visits, center-based visits, group meetings and remote when necessary
  • Translate written materials such as parent letters, newsletters, narrative reports, IFSPs, and notes
  • Assist Early Intervention Specialists during home visits
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach to service provision
  • Maintain compliance with all Kennedy Donovan Center policies and procedures/DPH regulations and requirements

We are looking for people who have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Ability to translate written materials in the pursuit of service delivery (via text or email)
  • Ability to meet required competency level in Microsoft Office Software
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
