Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

This telehealth role gives Virginia-licensed LMFTs the opportunity to provide ongoing therapy in a remote setting. You will help clients work through relationship challenges, family stress, communication concerns, and personal mental health needs while maintaining professional documentation and care standards.

Position Details

Location: Virginia
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual therapy services to individuals, couples, and families
• Complete clinical intakes and identify client goals
• Develop treatment plans that reflect each client’s needs and progress
• Provide therapy for concerns such as relationship conflict, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and major transitions
• Maintain timely progress notes and required documentation
• Protect client confidentiality during all telehealth sessions
• Use electronic systems for scheduling, records, and communication

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Active Virginia LMFT license in good standing
• Previous clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
• Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
