We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse & Machine Operator Assistant to join our team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse and production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, maintaining warehouse organization, and assisting with machine operation and quality control in the production process. Woodworking experience is a plus and will be considered an asset for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).

• Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment.

• Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a compliant and safe workplace.

• Monitor and maintain the functionality of machinery used in production, including daily assessments.

• Set up and manage machines for tasks such as cutting, edging, and assembling cabinets.

• Translate drawings and production requirements into precise dimensions.

• Inspect equipment, materials, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Communicate effectively regarding any logistical or production challenges.

• Record machine actions and production outcomes in logs for quality control.

• Continuously assess and make improvements to the machining processes to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
