Traffic Clerk - Metal Manufacturing
Location: Watseka, IL
Pay: $16.76 - $19.05/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

A local metal manufacturing company in Watseka, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Traffic Clerk to manage the logistics of shipping and receiving. In this role, you'll help ensure freight moves efficiently, documentation is precise, and daily shipping operations stay on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal teams
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and transfer records in company systems
- Review and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure delivery accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Assist with labeling and documentation to ensure compliance with shipping standards
- Support warehouse and logistics teams to maintain smooth shipping workflows
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in traffic coordination, shipping, or logistics preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or logistics software a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift/move boxes up to 50 lbs as needed
