Twin City Staffing is hiring an experienced tool and die manager for an innovative metal stamping and fabrication manufacturer in St. Paul. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to step into a leadership role in a clean, climate-controlled shop environment. If you bring over 7 years of tool and die experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory role, we want to hear from you!
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Wage: $90,000 - $115,000/year (Depending on experience)
Hours: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Thursday; 6:00 am – 12:00 pm on Fridays

Duties of the tool and die manager:
- Lead and supervise the Tool & Die department, including scheduling, quality, and team development
- Design, modify, and optimize tooling using CAD/CAM
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Oversee tool fabrication and repairs using CNC and manual machines
- Manage inventory, track tool usage, and maintain accurate records
- Resolve tooling and machine issues quickly and efficiently
- Ensure OSHA compliance and support a culture of safety
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage tooling projects
- Maintain budget and control tooling-related costs
Requirements of the tool and die manager:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience as a tool and die maker in manufacturing
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM and interpreting blueprints
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices
