Brookfield Insurance Agency seeks a customer service representative (CSR). The CSR will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and respond to our customers’ needs with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are patient, empathetic, and strong communicators. They put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. They are proactive, responsive, and diligent. The target is to provide excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. Will consider part-time or full-time candidates.
Responsibilities
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers and carrier representatives through open and interactive communication by phone, email and in person
- Daily job activities include:

- Preparing information for insurance quotes (home, auto, business, etc.)
- Processing endorsements (changes) to existing policies
- Addressing billing inquiries and processing payments
- Responding to claim inquiries
- Filing
- Document all customer interactions
- Follow all communication procedures and company policies
- Build experience and knowledge of insurance products and carriers to achieve agent licensing within two years of hire
Skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced office
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong customer orientation and ability to adapt and respond to different personalities
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and listening skills
- Must have a good memory for remembering data and details
- Strong computer proficiency with ability to use multiple carrier platforms
- Must be dependable
- High school degree
- Bi-lingual is helpful
