Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available in Los Alamos, NM, seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a day shift schedule with rotating weekends. This contract-to-hire position involves working in a busy environment averaging approximately 600 prescriptions filled daily.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am 6:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am 2:00 pm (rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Deliver excellent customer service and patient counseling
Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding)
Maintain accuracy and safety in prescription dispensing in a high-volume retail setting

Qualifications:

Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License required
Experience with non-sterile compounding preferred
Background in a high-volume pharmacy environment is a plus
New graduates are encouraged to apply
