Painter (Seasonal - Interior Dorm Rooms)

We are hiring experienced Painters to support interior dorm room painting projects during our summer preparation period. Candidates should be comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior painting of dorm rooms (walls and trim)
• Prepare rooms for painting, including taping, covering, and surface prep
• Apply appropriate paint finishes (semi-gloss, flat, eggshell)
• Remove painter’s tape and complete clean-up after each project
• Ensure work is completed neatly and on schedule

Requirements

• Previous painting experience required (beyond basic/home projects)
• Knowledge of different paint types and finishes
• Ability to move furniture (beds, hutches, etc.) to prepare rooms
• Comfortable climbing step ladders and performing physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Dependable transportation and punctuality

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Duration: May through mid-August
• No time off permitted during the first 3 weeks
• Pay: $17/hr
