A growing manufacturer is looking for a Industrial Engineer/Maintenance Manager to join their organization for a full-time position in the Philadelphia area. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible in conjunction with the Plant Manager for the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all processing equipment and facilities. This hands-on position will supervise maintenance techs and conducts maintenance planning duties for the entire plant. The operation runs continuously 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, and some nights and weekends will be required as needed. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing operation and team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining all machinery and equipment to ensure that there are limited interruptions to production and that all equipment is safe to operate.

• Ensures and maintains any updates for equipment information and repair files are completed in full.

• Develops, updates, and implements Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs and documents the completion of PM’ s.

• Responsible for ensuring that an inventory is kept of important spare parts and tools needed to avoid downtime in production.

• Participate and help cultivate an environment and culture of continuous improvement.

• Assist Plant Manager in developing plans for efficient plant operation and monitoring and driving safety in plant.

• Lead in the training and development of employees by managing performance and creating an environment in which they can succeed.

• In consultation with Plant Manager, responsible for ensuring plant operates in compliance with all laws and regulations.

• Ensures that maintenance personnel are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that maintenance programs can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE)

• Adhere, support, and enforce all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• At least (3) years’ experience in a Industrial Engineer/Maintenances Mechanical

• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks

• Skilled in metal fabrication, cutting, and welding.

• Mobile equipment experience.

• Must have Strong electrical and automation knowledge, including drives, motors, VFDs, and PLCs

• Ability to communicate with people across all organizational levels.

• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
Must be able to perform all duties, including standing and squatting for extended periods of time, work in environment with dust and noise, and around equipment with higher than ambient temperatures.
