Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This role offers hands-on experience in a variety of school settings, providing vital services to help students reach their full potential. You'll collaborate with educators and families to develop interventions that foster growth and independence, starting August 10th, 2026, and running through June 11th, 2027, for a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially K-12 caseloads
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and school locations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and collaborative teamwork
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skill needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services as part of IEP (Individualized Education Program) teams
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
- Deliver services at multiple school sites as assigned throughout the contract period
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
