Answer the phone
· Greet customers (find out the purpose of the visit, retail or commercial )
· Accept and process credit card payments at the counter and over the phone
· Process over the counter sales (cash sales)
· Mail – open, stamp photocopy and distribute
· Assist with work orders
· Pre and post install client follow up communication
· Handle material only post sale follow up
· Maintain Price List Files
· Maintain file cabinets and filing
· Overnight mail
· Assist with company event coordination
· Schedule Lunch and Learns with vendors for Floors Etc. employees
· General office duties
· Back up to showroom assistant
· Assist Showroom Manager with Daily Tasks
Requirements:
Work environment
· This position is on-site in Timonium MD
· Workdays are Monday through Friday 9am -5pm.
Physical Demands
· Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
· Occasionally move product boxes up to 20 pounds for various needs.
Required qualifications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proven experience in an office or administrative role Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional appearance and demeanor
