New York, NY (Manhattan). This is contract work with a Fortune 100 organization.

Position: Pharmacist
Location: New York, NY (Manhattan)
Duration: 3 Month contract to start, potential for extension or conversion to FTE
Rate: $75-85/Hr
Start Date: ASAP
Description:
Seeking experienced Pharmacists in the Manhattan area to prepare and dispense medications, provide clinical guidance to the healthcare team, and monitor patient therapies to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and resolve clinical questions regarding formulary and dosing.
Provide therapeutic recommendations based on patient-specific factors and current literature.
Conduct routine chart reviews and assist with medication reconciliation.
Prepare sterile and parenteral medications, including compounding and chemotherapy preparation.
Maintain pharmacy inventory and document interventions, reporting adverse events or errors.
Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and training programs.
Required Experience / Skills:
Licensed Pharmacist with 3+ years of experience.
Experience with working with Epic, Pyxis, Simplifi, and Medi-dose.
Compounding and sterile product preparation, including chemotherapy using Equashield.
Strong knowledge of drug therapies, pharmacy operations, and regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
Work Environment:
Moderate physical activity; exposure to common pharmacy-related materials.
Multiple shifts available, including day and overnight.
Min Education: Bachelor’s or Doctorate
