Our organization is excited to present a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon to become part of our established team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
We are in search of a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible physician specializing in Vascular Surgery to join our single-specialty practice. The Vascular Surgery team primarily utilizes our Inpatient Hybrid room and Interventional Suites for a majority of procedures.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in educating our General Surgery Residents and will hold a position as volunteer faculty at the University of Miami.
Our practice offers a comprehensive range of vascular treatment and surgical services, including:
- Management of arterial aneurysms, encompassing the thoracic and abdominal aorta, as well as peripheral vessels.
- Treatment of carotid artery disease aimed at stroke prevention.
- Addressing Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) that leads to exercise-related leg pain (claudication) or limb-threatening ischemia.
- Management of mesenteric and visceral vascular diseases.
- Providing hemodialysis access for patients with kidney failure.
- Treatment of venous disorders, including varicose veins.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited vascular surgery residency or fellowship, along with ABS certification in vascular surgery.
- Board certification from the American Board of Surgery with a certification of special qualification (CSQ) in vascular surgery, or the ability to obtain this certification within three years of employment.
- A current Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure in Florida is required.
