About the Role

Bluewater Media is seeking a driven, strategic Business Development professional to join our team and grow our client portfolio. This is a hunter role — you’ll identify and close new business by selling the full Bluewater offering: brand creative, broadcast media, and digital. The sweet spot for this role is someone who can speak fluently to both the creative and media sides of a brand’s marketing investment and connect those conversations to real, measurable business results.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities across product and lead gen business verticals.

• Develop and manage a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, trade show attendance, referrals, and strategic networking

• Lead discovery conversations to uncover brand challenges and position Bluewater’s converged creative and media model as the solution

• Own the full sales cycle from first contact through signed agreement, coordinating with internal teams on proposals, capabilities presentations, and scoping

• Collaborate with creative, strategy, and media teams to build tailored, insight-driven proposals

• Represent Bluewater at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads

• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM activity to support forecasting and leadership visibility

• Support retention and upsell opportunities by staying close to existing client relationships

• Help shape and refine the agency’s outbound sales messaging and go-to-market approach

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience within media, advertising, or marketing services

• Proven track record selling brand creative services — ideally TV/video production or media

• Strong command of the media landscape - particularly TV and digital channels - and how brands use these channels to drive ROI

• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

• Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills — you can walk into a brand or agency meeting and immediately add value

• Self-starter with the ability to hunt independently and manage a full pipeline without hand-holding

• CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management habits
