The Customer Service Rep position at Extron Fence is highly interactive and crucial for our company's success. This role primarily involves communicating with customers by phone, email or via our website's chat feature, handling inquiries, providing support, offering product information and resolving customer issues promptly. Our Customer Service Rep also plays a fundamental role in enhancing our brand's experience by upholding our brand's standards and values.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Rep at Extron Fence, your main responsibilities will include:
- Communicating directly with customers and responding to inquiries via email, telephone, and online chat efficiently.
- Addressing customer questions or complaints, troubleshooting problems, and providing information about our products and services.
- Following up to ensure resolution of all customer queries, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Assisting in product recommendations and educating customers about the features and benefits of products.
- Maintaining updated customer records in the company database, including contact details, interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Closely working with the product team to stay updated on new products and services to be able to explain these to customers.
- Coordinating with other departments to solve customer-facing problems.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Rep position at Extron Fence should possess the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college or degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer support role, preferably in the fencing or related industry.
- Strong phone handling skills, excellent listening abilities and a natural talent for building relationships.
- Extensive knowledge of the industry’s customer service principles and practices.
- Good understanding of administration and clerical processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at learning company-specific software systems.
