Bartender Job Description
Location: Patsy’s Pizzeria – Nanuet
Reports To: General Manager
Executive Summary
The Bartender is responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service, maintaining bar operations, and supporting overall guest experience. This role requires speed, accuracy, and strong customer engagement while ensuring compliance with all safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Greet guests promptly and provide attentive, friendly service
- Take drink and bar food orders accurately
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming bar experience
Beverage Preparation
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
Bar Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, and supplies as needed
- Manage bar inventory and notify management of shortages
Team Support
- Support servers with drink orders during peak hours
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and floor staff
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Prior bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must meet legal age and certification requirements (if applicable)

- Compliance with alcohol service laws

- Bartender is responsible for accuracy of all orders prepared
- Cash handling must follow restaurant procedures
