Job Summary We are seeking a contract sales leader with deep experience in manufacturing or industrial technology to drive early customer adoption of a new computer vision AI platform. This role is ideal for someone who understands plant operations and has established relationships across quality, manufacturing, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing networks to open doors with manufacturing customers, particularly in automotive and industrial sectors.
- Drive sales of paid pilots and initial deployments for both edge-based and cloud products.
- Translate operational challenges into compelling AI use cases, including inspection, defect detection, and process optimization.
- Shape early go-to-market messaging based on customer feedback.
- Build and manage a pipeline from initial outreach through deal closure.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience selling software into manufacturing, industrial, or automation environments.
- Proven ability to close complex, solution-based deals.
- Strong relationships with plant managers, manufacturing engineers, or quality leaders.
- Ability to operate independently in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience with AI, machine vision, or industrial software.
