Quality Patient Centered Services (QPCS), in partnership with Titan-AUXO, is dedicated to serving America’s Veterans. We are seeking an experienced, full-time Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) to join our team in support of the White River Junction VA Medical Center (WRJ VAMC) in Vermont.

This is an on-site position.
Schedule
- Full-Time (1.0 FTE – 2,080 hours annually)
- Day, evening, and overnight shifts available
- 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Weekends required
- Minimum of 80 hours every two weeks
- Federal holidays observed unless patient care needs require coverage
Contract Term
- Initial 12-month contract
- Possible extension up to 6 additional months based on performance and contract renewal
Pay Rate
$70.00 per hour

Position Summary
As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services to Veterans in a modern VA medical center. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent judgment, and a patient-centered approach while maintaining strict compliance with VA, federal, and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of diagnostic radiologic procedures for VA beneficiaries
- Operate fluoroscopic, general diagnostic, portable radiography, and operating room imaging equipment
- Prepare and administer contrast media under radiologist supervision
- Ensure high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging studies and radiation dose records
- Conduct repeat/reject analysis and support quality assurance initiatives
- Apply infection control and radiation safety practices
- Maintain electronic records within VA systems
- Perform minor equipment adjustments and promptly report malfunctions
- Exercise independent judgment while consulting radiologists as needed
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and VA policies
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification (current and active)
- Minimum three (3) years of recent experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques
- Ability to meet VA credentialing, background investigation, and training requirements
- Completion of VA-mandated training (BLS, HIPAA, Privacy, Computer Security, etc.)
- Compliance with immunization and health screening requirements

- Experience in a VA or federal healthcare environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Professional communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and shift schedules
Compliance and Standards
This position requires strict adherence to all applicable VA policies, federal regulations, and professional standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission guidelines, VHA directives, and federal healthcare compliance requirements. Background checks, fingerprinting, and credentialing are mandatory prior to start.
