Full Time Straight Wire Machine Operator, Crimp Wire Machine Operator. $20 - $22/hr
These are mechanical machines - not cnc.
7:30 am to 4:00 pm Daily Monday thru Friday
Manufacturer of conveyor belts.

Required Skills:

Must have some mechanical aptitude and an understanding of how machinery works.
Math skills required (calculating fractions to inches and determining piece counts).
Job requires attention to detail to insure the machine is running properly and the crimp tolerances on the rods are coming out properly.
Job requires frequent mechanical adjustments to the machine to get the desired results.
Ability to Troubleshoot
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Duties include:

• Running crimped wires and straight wires depending on what the order calls.
• Calculating qty of rods to run based on order requirements.
• Calibration may be required to hold initial tolerances of the crimp locations.
• Setting up the machine with proper tooling to obtain the correct crimp depth and frequency for each order.
• Adjusting machine settings and tools to hold tolerances. Ability to troubleshoot
• Mechanical experience a plus to understand how the machine operates and at times troubleshoot.
