We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry-Level Demand Planner to join our supply chain team. This role is responsible for supporting the demand planning process by analyzing sales trends, forecasting demand, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather input and align forecasts with business objectives.
- Maintain and update demand planning systems and tools.
- Identify and communicate potential supply and demand issues.
- Support monthly demand review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with forecasting tools or ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or coursework related to supply chain or demand planning.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Basic understanding of inventory management and forecasting principles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
