Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of products through the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect merchandise from inventory racks and safely transport them to the shipping bay.
- Load and unload fuel trucks at racks efficiently.
- Manage and deliver package items to various customers.
- Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return.
- Keep an accurate inventory of all merchandise entering and exiting the warehouse.
- Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensure all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Handle all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and climb with no assistance.
- Lift 50 pounds with no assistance.
- Roll a 450-pound drum with no assistance.
- Solve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with the dispatcher.
- Provide excellent service to walk-in customers.
- Maintain a neat and clean warehouse by sweeping, disposing of trash, and organizing items.
- Maintain a clean work environment by pressure washing around the facility, trucks, and spills.
- Perform light maintenance duties such as replacing lights, minor repairs, installations, and batteries.
Essential Skills
- Forklift certification.
- Experience in inventory management, picking, and packing.
- General labor and material handling skills.
- Supply chain and warehouse operation knowledge.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Current valid driver's license.
- Clean accident and driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic random drug tests.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
