Construction Site Safety Supervisor Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Safety Supervisor with a background in civil construction to join our team in Austin. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of excavation, embankment, and structural safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage safety programs on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage onsite safety for both contractor and subcontractor personnel.

Conduct weekly safety meetings and assist in the development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).

Review JHAs and manage the onsite safety program as part of an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate safety efforts.

Maintain accurate records of safety meetings, training, and incidents.
Qualifications:

Minimum of OSHA 30-hour certification, with specific training in trench safety.

Previous experience working on construction projects valued at $5 million or above.

Thorough knowledge of civil construction safety practices, regulations, and standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
