Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This role involves hands-on learning and support in HVAC systems installation and maintenance. You will gain valuable skills by assisting experienced mechanics and contributing to the efficiency and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials needed for various projects.
- Clean HVAC fitters and change filters regularly.
- Assist mechanics in carrying tools and materials, and learn the trade.
- Create lists of required materials with the mechanic.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the jobsite and move materials as necessary.
Essential Skills
- Experience in HVAC systems and equipment.
- Ability to perform general labor tasks.
- Capability to drive and hold a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in loading and unloading materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of an OSHA 30 certification.

Work Environment
The role requires meeting at the shop daily and traveling in a van with a mechanic to various job sites. Work hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, though flexibility for earlier or later hours based on the schedule is necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodside, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
