A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in a school setting in Ellsworth, ME. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to help students improve communication skills and achieve their educational goals. The position requires travel between school locations, offering a dynamic work environment across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document and track student progress according to administrative standards
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Travel between multiple school sites to deliver direct therapy services

- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
